Ok so even though I haven't posted for a while, I really didn't step off the edge of the world and drifted off aimlessly into space. I just haven't been very talkative while trying to end this job I'm on and transition into my new job. Basically I'm working the hospital job on a day to day basis awaiting the call to start out at the quarry. Hopefully I should get that call in the next couple of days. Anyway I just wanted to do a quick update to let y'all know I was still alive n kickin.
That's it for now. Later.

Woke up this morning to claps of thunder as the spring like potentially destructive thunder storms rolled through. I say potentially destructive because even though we were lucky around here, there were those to the east of us who weren't. It's still the winter season, at least I think it is, and already strong storms are upon us. Oh well it's been a screwy winter this year anyhow. Not that I'm complaining, I'll take the warm winter we had this year anytime. As the thunder storms gave way to sunshine and spring like temperatures I decided to take a walk this afternoon and see if there were any signs of the impending change of seasons. Below are a few I found on my short walk.

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Or what goes around comes around. Either way you want to look at it that's how my day went today. It started out fair went really shitty and then ended really good. I suppose I should elaborate. Well the workday started rather so-so. But then I had to do some above ceiling clean up near the operating rooms which meant I had to use one of those pop up infection control tents. When I went to set it up the damned thing broke. Not only broke in one place but two. Now you need to realize these tents are the hospitals pride and joy and now having broke one I figured I was in deep shit for sure. Surprisingly they were rather understanding when I told them about it gave me another one and I finished what I had to do.So yeah the way the way the day was going I was ready to go out and dig a hole jump in it and hide the rest of the day. But just as fast as the day went bad it started to turn around. Starting with my boss at one thirty suddenly says fuck it lets go home. Now I'm not one to argue with going home early so it wasn't long before I was in the car heading home. On the way to the house I decided to stop at the store to get some milk. On the way out of the store I took a five dollar bill and bought five one dollar lottery ticket and ended up winning fifty-six dollars. So yeah what look to be a really rotten day turned out to be a rather bright one after all. Hope your day went well.
That's it for now. Later.
P.S. More pic's to be posted whenever I get a chance to get out and take some more.

As you may have noticed things haven't been quite right around here the past month or so. Here lately it's become easy, too easy in fact, to stay in and not do anything or go anywhere. I don't know maybe it's a case of the winter blahs, could be the added stress at work or hell I may just be getting lazy. Anyway all I know is I could sense the bricks falling into place and the wall returning. Whatever it is that's been keeping me in has also managed to bottle up things inside of me and it's been harder to write. This is something I went through years ago. You know kind of a protectionist kind of thing. If I don't open up I can't get dinged, if I don't go out I can't get stepped on. It was all coming back, only this time I recognize what's happening. And well I don't want to return to those days of isolation. So after a lot of soul searching this past week I've started to try and reverse what been happening. So this afternoon even though the urge to stay in was strong I decided to take a ride out into the countryside. With my camera in hand I ventured out to the area of the quarry I'll start working at in a week or so. I also know I need to update and write more often. Which I plan to do even if I only type out a few lines of bullshit to begin with, at least it'll be something.
That's it for now. Later.
